Toomas Karmo: Administrative Announcement (Cleanup of Three Old Postings)

Revision history:

All times in these blog "revision histories" are stated in UTC (Universal Coordinated Time/ Temps Universel Coordoné,  a precisification of the old GMT, or "Greenwich Mean Time"), in the ISO-prescribed YYYYMMDDThhmmZ timestamping format. UTC currently leads Toronto civil time by 5 hours and currently lags Tallinn civil time by 2 hours.

  • 20180123T0011Z/version 1.0.0: Kmo uploaded base version. He reserved the right to make tiny, nonsubstantive, purely cosmetic, tweaks over the coming 48 hours, as here-undocumented versions 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, ... .

Administrative Announcement

The blogging schedule has been disrupted
by an unusually heavy blogging workload,
with blogging time repeatedly spilling over into parts of the week
that are supposed to have gone to other tasks.
To get things back under control,
both as regards blogging and as regards the other tasks,
I am in my current weekly blogging principal-uploads window
(i.e., in the period UTC=20180123T0001Z/20180123T0401Z)
merely improving the three postings
server-timestamped 2018-01-08, as follows:
  • " Operatsiion Kodune Koli ehk 'Operation Eastward Ho!'": put in still more work (despite the heavy work investment over the past two weeks), taking this long essay from version 5.0.0 to version 6.0.0. It is mainly necessary to add remarks on possibilities for amateur astronomy in Tartu County, Estonia.
  • "Our Biggest Cyberproblem Since Y2K: Debian GNU/Linux Observations": put in a little more work, to reflect a little further reading and thinking, taking this short note from version 2.0.0 to version 3.0.0.
  • "A Fourth Resolution for the 2018 New Year": put in a little work, remedying stylistic misjudgements and adding a graphic, so as to take this minor essay from version 1.1.0 to version 1.2.0.

[This is the end of the current blogspot blog posting.]
